Neurological Damage
A knee dislocation and the progression of knee pain leads to the injury of perennial and tibial nerves. The severity of the knee problem determines the degree of damage happening to the nerves. The damage resulting to the nerves surrounding the knee leads to lower oxygen supply thus causing ischemia. The nerve injury also limits the stability and knee movements.
