Complex Regional Pain Syndrome
Complex regional pain syndrome is a medical condition that often occurs with advancement in the knee pain or after a knee replacement surgery. In the case of complex regional pain syndrome, the patient experiences hypersensitivity to the pain in knees along with osteopenia, atrophy, and stiffness in the knees. The sensation of severe pain might lead to contractures of soft tissues and muscle inhibition. The patients having complex regional pain syndrome require nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and steroid drugs to cope with the immense pain.
