Deep Vein Thrombosis
In the case of patients with prolonged immobilization due to chronic knee pain leads to deep vein thrombosis. Any trauma or injury to the knee might result in the impairment of the endothelial blood vessels. There is significant clotting of the blood due to the vascular damage in the lower limbs.
