Practice this exercise to make standing easier.

  • Place two pillows on a chair. Sit on top of these pillows, with your back straight and feet flat on the floor.
  • Use your leg muscles to stand up tall slowly and smoothly.
  • Then sit down again making sure your bent knees don’t go ahead of your toes.
  • Keep your arms loose or cross them.
  • If feeling hard, add pillows.
