This gentle calf stretch is performed to increase flexibility in your leg muscles, hence strengthening the knee joint.

  1. Extend your right foot a few feet right in front of your left foot. Bend your right leg, and make sure your knee doesn’t go past your toes.
  2. Press your left heel toward the floor to exert a stretch in the calf of your right leg while keeping your left leg straight,
  3. Hold for 30 seconds. Repeat on the other leg.
  4. Do 3 times a day.
