Recurrent Symptoms After Recovery
You have consulted your physician and completed the prescribed antibiotic course and other medicines to treat bronchitis. You feel recovered and healthy, however, you notice that the same or even more severe signs and symptoms came back or your cough took more than five to six weeks to recover after diagnosis. This recurrence of same or different signs and symptoms may be due to recurrent bronchitis or any other respiratory infection that has developed as a complication of bronchitis.
Another common sign of lung or cardiac complication of bronchitis is the development of swelling or puffiness in your hands, feet or around the eyes. You should not waste your time and immediately consult your doctor for further evaluation and management.
