Aneurysm Of The Aorta
You may not have heard of this condition before due to its rare occurrence. An aneurysm occurs due to the weakening of the wall of the arterial blood vessel and can lead to a bulging (aneurysm) of the arterial wall. The most common causes of aneurysm anywhere in the body include old age, atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) and build-up of cholesterol in the blood vessels.
A weakening in the arteiral wall leads to pulsating low back pain. The intensity of the pain depends on the size of the aneurysm.
