Injection studies
Injection study involves the use of fluoroscopic-directed injections of steroid medication and local anesthesia into certain anatomic structures. The injection studies are helpful; in the confirmation and detection of sources of the pain in the lower back area. Injection studies are predictors of surgical outcomes, rehabilitation, and diagnosis of the underlying cause of back pain. In some cases, the doctors might known what is causing the pain but the actual location of the pain is not confirm so the imaging tests are helpful in the detection of pain location. The testing of imaging also helps the doctors to plan the procedure beforehand.
