Biotin, Vitamin B7

- Egg yolks
- Chicken
- Mushrooms
- Yeast
Biotin deficiency
Biotin deficiency is quite rare as it is present widely in numerous foods and you only require small amounts of the vitamin daily. Excessive intake of raw egg whites by bodybuilders for a period of several months can cause deficiency as a protein in the egg whites inhibit the absorption of biotin.
