Cadaver Hairs
Black dots or comedo-like hairs are also an early indication of the alopecia areata disorder. Almost 50% of the affected persons show this symptom. The black dots or cadaver hairs appear when the smaller hair strands entrapping in, the weaker hair follicles. The growth of the hair strands is not possible as the immune cells are simultaneously attacking the hair follicles.
