Kidney Related Symptoms

The build-up of proteins in the kidneys interferes with normal functioning. Kidneys are the organs for filtration in the body and remove toxic compounds from the blood. If amyloidosis affects the kidneys, toxins begin to build-up in the body and may cause kidney failure. Following are the symptoms of kidney amyloidosis:

  • Loss of appetite
  • Fatigue
  • Tiredness
  • Edema
  • Swelling in the legs
  • Proteins in urine
