Types Of Amyloidosis
Localized amyloidosis (ALoc)
The amyloid build-up is at only one specific tissue, and then it affects only that specific organ that is surrounded by those affected tissues. This type of amyloid deposition causes impairment of only one or two specific organs and is therefore known as localized amyloidosis. This type of amyloidosis is not harmful to normal body functioning and merely affects the overall health of the person.
