Buspar is a moderate tranquilizer used for treating anxiety disorder. Buspar works by releasing increased amount of serotonin hormone in the brain, which manages and promotes good mood. Since buspar is a slow working medicines, it can take up to 6 weeks in order to achieve proper results. 48 percent of people report positive changes in anxiety after consuming buspar. It has much less side-effects than benzodiazepines. But it is not as effective as benzodiazepines. Buspar doesn’t work on the patients who have previously consumed benzodiazepines.
