Serotonin and norepinephrine are chemicals which alter moods and emotions in the body. Serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors are a form of anti-depressants. They are more effective than selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. These medicines increase the amount of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain, which helps dealing with anxiety attacks. Some common side-effects are:

- Fatigue
- Insomnia
