Irritability

Coping with the constant worrying makes the patient irritable. It is a manifestation of the struggles of the patient trying to control their emotions, and bringing forth a reasonable response to the stressors. Irritability can be marked in moods or behaviors. Agitation is the more severe form of irritability. The patient may feel restless, a continuous desire to keep things done without being able to bring a task to completion. Controlling the irritability is another challenge in addition to the worrying. However, it is easy to cope by thinking of all these symptoms apart from one’s own personality, and just a manifestation of the anxiety.
