Pneumonia
Pneumonia is an acute infectious disease that increases the physical stress, which adversely affects the functioning of the heart muscles and can lead to several heart conditions like an atrial fibrillation heart attack or even sudden cardiac attack. Pneumonia acts as a triggering factor, thus making the heart more vulnerable to irregular heartbeats. If a person leaves pneumonia untreated, there is the development of rapid heart rate, which leads to atrial fibrillation in a longer run.
