Certain Medications
Several medications, including anticoagulants like apixaban, dabigatran, edoxaban, and rivaroxaban, are anticoagulants that might cause the onset of atrial fibrillation. Another class of cardiovascular drugs such as antineoplastic agents, corticosteroids, adenosine, and ondansetron causes the induction of irregular heart beating and causes the development of atrial fibrillation.
