Using drugs for cardioversion
In this procedure, certain cardio drugs known as antiarrhythmics help restore the normal sinus rhythm. The doctor gives the patient the medications either through the mouth or an IV depending on the condition of the heart. This procedure is usually very critical and requires continuous monitoring of the heart rate in the hospital.
