Nausea and Vomiting
Patients of brain tumor may experience complaints of nausea and vomiting. The tumors involving the posterior part of the brain, the cerebellum, which controls balance, can result in a feeling of nausea. Symptoms of brain tumor depend upon the location of the tumor. The tumor can also result in swelling of the brain, which can also give rise to nausea. These are also among typical side effects of chemotherapeutic drugs and other treatment plans in dealing with cancer.
Nausea and vomiting are signs of common ailments, but if it persists continuously for more than a week, worsens in the morning, does even interrupt sleep, it can be a warning sign of some serious problem and need medical attention urgently.
