Weight Loss
Unwanted and significant weight loss can be a symptom of brain tumor. Any tumor in the brain can cause appetite problems. If the tumor is near or close to the spine, it can cause issues while swallowing food. Depression and anxiety after tumor diagnosis also cause loss of appetite. A tumor in pituitary gland causes unobserved hormonal release resulting in either weight gain or weight loss. Treatment such as radiations and chemotherapy also promote vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite etc. Moreover, surgeries and biopsy also result in loss of blood and weakness. Healthy eating habits are beneficial in tumor therapy because they stimulate healing.
