Speech disorders

The brain controls the entire functioning of our body. The frontal lobe of the brain is responsible for involuntary actions and speech. Any tumor in the frontal lobe, or left hemisphere can effect speaking ability. This speaking issue is called aphasia. Aphasia puts the brain in a chaotic situation. There are two types of aphasia.

  • Broca’s aphasia
  • Wernicke’s aphasia

During aphasia people fail to recall the names of even common things. They find it difficult to communicate. Writing things down is also not an option for these people. Aphasia, either completely retards the person’s speaking ability, or causes the brain to confuse things.
