Survival rate

The survival rate of brain tumors depends on the type, size, age, overall health of the patient, location within the brain and timely identification. If the tumor is benign, there is a higher chance of survival as compared to malignant brain tumors. Timely treatment prevents further growth of tumors and may enable the removal of the tumor. Any benign tumor can turn into a malignant tumor if left unattended.
