Stage 4 breast cancer

A person with breast cancer in stage 4 has cancer that has spread in the body not only to the nearby lymph nodes but also to more distant lymph nodes and other organs.

Phase 4 is the most advanced stage of breast cancer. Sometimes known as secondary breast cancer or metastatic cancer. Stage 4 cancer can be recurrent breast cancer, which has now spread to other parts of the body.
