Nipple Retraction or Inversion
Breast cancer can cause several changes to the cells behind the nipple. These changes can cause the nipple to invert and reverse inward into the breast, or it may look different in size. During ovulation or other periods of the menstrual cycle, the color of the nipples can often alter so people should see a doctor about any new changes in the nipple.
