Redness
Breast cancer can cause skin changes that may cause it to appear discoloured or even bruised. The skin may become red or purple, or bluish in colour. If a person hasn’t had a recent breast trauma to justify those changes, they should see their doctor. It is also important to seek medical advice if the discolouration of the breast does not disappear, even if the cause was trauma.
