Obesity and Asthma
Some studies have confirmed that asthma tends to be more common in overweight adults and children. Asthmatic overweight seems to have more uncontrolled asthma and more days on asthma medicines.
Viral respiratory infections
Respiratory problems can cause wheezing during infancy and childhood. Some kids who have viral respiratory infections continue to have chronic asthma later in their life.
