Swelling

The cellulite affected region appears swollen, lumpy, and uneven in texture. This may be due to edema, deposits of fat, and water.

Depending upon appearance cellulite vary from mild to moderate to severe. In the early stages, there may be no detectable cellulite but pinching of the skin causes contraction and some pallor and unevenness can be noted. The moderate stage depends on the position of the affected region. And in the severe stage nodules and bumps are noted.
