Headache

Headache is the most common and largely prevalent symptom of a concussion. A person can get a headache following a concussion that is quite similar to a migraine headache. The pain tends to begin in the front of the head area of your temple or forehead. A majority of the patients describe the headache from a concussion as a throbbing and pain and the pain is so sharp that the patients need sedatives and pain killers to get relief. Headache is one of the initial symptoms of a concussion and sometimes occurs in combination with sensitivity to light and nausea. Headache after a concussion lasts usually for a few days and can come back in some patients after completion of their treatment too, which is known as relapsing.
