Balance Problems
Another common issue with concussions is the occurrence of balance and coordination problems. After the minor traumatic injury leading to a concussion in a person makes him or her unable to maintain balance. Almost 40 to 60% of the patients with concussions experience balance problems and dizziness. A lack of balance leads to improper communication, slowed response to stimuli, poor motor coordination, and more chances of falls or slips.
