Chocolate
Chocolate is always considered a controversial food for health. Chocolate bars are higher in fats and slows down the digestive system so badly. For the people who are already suffering from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), chocolate is a big no-no in their diets. Chocolate worsens the condition of constipation by interfering with the “peristalsis.” Peristalsis is the gastric movement of mixing the food content with gastric juices to accomplish digestion. Chocolate thus interferes and slows down the normal process of digestion.
