White bread made from white refined flour having no fiber content also worsens the condition of constipation. White bread having no fiber and exceeding amounts of starch in it does fill you up but do not have positive effects on your gut. White bread slows down the stimulation of digestive muscles, thus slowing down the whole process of digestion. Pretzels, bagels, biscuits, and all the other bakery items, also having white flour in them, are not good for a healthy gut and digestive system.
