Certain blood groups are at high risk of developing DVT compared to another group. The individuals with blood group A and B have greater chances of blood clot formation as compared to the peoples with blood group O. The ABO gene presence in the A and B blood group favors the prognosis of DVT. The DVT, in this case, can be prevented via adopting a healthy lifestyle.
