Not only the complications associated with cancer but also the management and treatment of Cancer can cause DVT. The most-reported Cancers that possess the risk of DVT are Pancreatic and Gastric cancer. DVT is strongly associated with mucin-secreting endothelial cell tumors, like in the case of bowel or pancreatic cancers.
