Hypovolemic shock
Hypovolemic shock is another medical emergency that can be a result of complication of dehydration. The body loses its fluid, and consequently blood volume. The perfusion of the cells in different organs is compromised and consequently, their nourishment. Hypovolemic shock needs urgent medical attention to avoid multiple organ failure. The body’s hormonal system also gets damaged, which may cause insulin resistance, adrenal gland exhaustion.
