Prepatellar Bursitis

A Prepatellar bursa is a fluid-filled sac present in the right side of the kneecap. Prepatellar bursitis is a condition resulting when the bursa swell and is more common among the people who kneel more often such as carpet layers or gardeners. Other factors like rheumatoid arthritis, gout, a direct blow, or an infection can also lead to prepatellar bursitis but is less common. In addition to the mild aching pain in the knee, typically there is rapid swelling too over the kneecap, which aggravates with knee movements or touching the knee.
