With the progression of Dupuytren’s contracture, the bending of fingers gets worse day by day, thus making it very hard for the suffering person to straighten the fingers. The people suffering from Dupuytren’s condition face a difficulty to pick up larger objects retrieve cash, coins, ID card or placing hands in the pocket. The other most common symptoms include the inability to wear gloves, shaking hands and placing your hands flat on a surface. There is a thickening of the skin around the area of the palm, and the skin appears as dimples which cover the whole palm.  The skin areas covering in grooves or pits can also lead to permanent skin loss if the skin does not seek proper treatment. Moreover, these grooves covering the palm become sore and painful.
