Abnormal flow during menstrual periods
The females who already suffer from retrograde flow in the menstrual periods are more likely to get endometriosis. The tissues which the uterine wall sheds during the period of menstruation flows back in the fallopian tube and then flow towards other body organs. Some of the tissues shed by the uterine wall move towards the pelvis and lead to endometriosis.
