Diagnostic laparoscopy
The procedure of diagnostic laparoscopy is an invasive method that involves the help of a surgeon. The surgeon makes a small incision near the belly button and inserts a small tool known as a laparoscope through the belly button to diagnose the lesions or implants, indicating endometriosis. The doctor gives the local patient anesthesia and looks for the signs of any endometrial implants and scars outside the uterus wall.
