Dietary changes

A healthy diet helps in reducing the symptoms of endometriosis and might also prevent the development of endometriosis. Try to avoid processed and fried foods as they are rich in sugars and trans fats, which cause inflammation in the body. Try to add healthy fats like omega-3 fatty acids in your diet because these foods are anti-inflammatory. The use of omega-3 fatty acids in your diet relieves the painful symptoms of endometriosis. You must avoid the intake of red meat or at least limit the intake of red meat.

The frequent intake of red meat or processed red meat causes many disorders and increases women’s risk of getting endometriosis. Try to switch the red meat diet with foods higher in proteins like lean meats such as poultry or fish. The higher intake of red meat or ham increases estrogen levels in the body, leading to endometrial implants growth. You can eat whole grains, fruits, and vegetables daily, powerful sources of vitamins and minerals that help fight the inflammation. Higher fiber intake might also help in lowering the estrogen levels in the body.
