Bone Tumors

Bone tumors are dangerous because they grow in closed and small space that contains tendons and nerves. They are rare, but the growing tumor compresses all the surrounding structures, including the median nerve that passes through the tunnel. As mentioned before when the nerve is compressed it will lead to pain, numbness or tingling sensation which are the classical presentation of carpal tunnel syndrome. If the pain worsens, it is maybe a symptom of severe nerve damage which needs doctor intervention.
