Saltwater rinse

Saltwater has disinfectant properties and can help the body to heal. Various scientific studies have shown that rinsing the mouth with the solution of saltwater can relieve inflamed and swollen gums caused by gingivitis and other gum diseases. To use a saltwater rinse;

  1. Pour boiling or lukewarm water into a glass and let it cool
  2. Mix 3-4 tsp of salt into the water
  3. Swirl the solution around the mouth for 2 minutes and repeat up to three times daily
