Blood in the sink
So you bite an apple and notice a red spot on it, it can be a sign of loose gums or gingivitis. Dentists warn that the first sign, in some cases of gingivitis, can be spitting of blood after brushing or swishing. Bleeding after tooth brushing may indicate an active inflammation of the gums or surrounding areas. Luckily, this symptom can be easily reversed with proper dental hygiene, such as daily brushing and flossing. You can also get help from a dentist for regular dental cleanings.
There are other mild to severe causes of bleeding gums. Therefore, it does not stop after common precautionary measures, consult your health care provider to look for some other underlying cause.
