Sensitive teeth
If a sip of a cold or hot drink makes you wince, it is a sign your teeth may be pointing you something. The sensitive tooth is a symptom of gum disease such as gingivitis that often goes hand in hand with shrunken gums. Receding gums can lead to the exposed sensitive part of the tooth – called the dentin. It further causes tooth sensitivity when exposed to hot or cold water and air.
