 Neck extension with head lift

This is a modification of simple neck extension exercise. It is also equally useful for some patients.

How to do it:

  1. Lie on your stomach (in the prone position) on a flat surface with your arms by your side. Make sure your head hangs off the surface.
  2. Gently raise your head, such that extending your neck against gravitational force.
  3. Hold your head and neck in this position for 10 seconds. Repeat 10 to 15 times.
