Neck extension with head lift
This is a modification of simple neck extension exercise. It is also equally useful for some patients.
How to do it:
- Lie on your stomach (in the prone position) on a flat surface with your arms by your side. Make sure your head hangs off the surface.
- Gently raise your head, such that extending your neck against gravitational force.
- Hold your head and neck in this position for 10 seconds. Repeat 10 to 15 times.
