Numerous medical conditions can induce fever; the medical conditions prevent the immune system from working properly, making it easier for infection to spread inside the body and makes it difficult to find the cause of fever. There are many diseases, the symptoms of which include fever due to inflammation, including
- Typhoid Fever
Typhoid fever is caused by a bacterium known as “Salmonella typhi.” The disease is caused as a result of drinking infected food and water. The bacteria start to multiply on the body. If not treated, the virus can be deadly, and a person can suffer from fever for months.
- Jaundice Fever
In this disease, the body’s red blood cells are damaged in the body to turn pale and yellow. When the red blood cells break, bilirubin is released.
- Sarcoidosis
A condition in which unusual inflammation occurs in the body, which results in the formation of granulomas. Abnormal collections of inflammatory cells the inflammation causes fever.
- Autoimmune Disease
The elevated temperature has also been observed in people with chronic autoimmune diseases like multiple scoliosis and arthritis. A study showed that many participants with MS were complaining about low-grade fever. Diagnosis of autoimmune diseases requires multiple tests and diagnosis tools; therefore, the pain has a fever; they will be prescribed to take plenty of fluids and anti-inflammatory drugs to reduce the fever.
- Cancer
Some cancer types, including leukemia and lymphomas, can show unexplained persistent low-grade fever as a symptom. But as cancer is very difficult to diagnose and is a hidden enemy, fever is just a non-specific symptom of cancer, and having a persistent fever does not support the presence of cancer.
