Fever : What You Need To Know

Soak the Socks

Soak the Socks

A very popular home remedy for the treatment is wet-sock treatment. In this simple procedure, you need to put your feet in warm water so they warm-up, then soak a pair of thin cotton socks in cold water and wear them before going to bed.

Apply a pair of dry socks over the wet socks—this procedure helps to draw blood to the feet and ease the fever by increasing blood circulation.

A mustard foot bath is also helpful in reducing fever. Add two teaspoons of mustard powder in water and soak feet in it; it will draw blood to the feet.
