Genital herpes symptoms in men
In men, genital herpes can cause blisters and sores that can appear on the:
- Penis
- Groin and thighs
- Scrotum
- Around the anus
- Buttocks
- Urethra
A man might feel more intense tingly or itchy around his testicles and penis which follows with painful red sores which are small at first and then turn into oozing open sores. Sometimes, these blisters pop and leave the sores to bleed or ooze. Men might also get oral herpes by doing oral sex with someone having a cold sore which goes by without much attention as the patient might mistake the initial symptoms for just a rash or pimple.
