Inter-Critical or Interval Gout
Inter-critical or interval gout is the type of gout that causes period of acute gout attacks. Subsequent gout attacks might not appear for several months or years if there is appropriate treatment going on for the disease. However, if a patient is not seeking an appropriate treatment for gout, then there can be frequent gout attacks over time which might last longer. People having the interval or inter-critical type of gout face further deposition of uric acid crystals in tissues and joints during this time which might worsen the condition.
