Hemophilia (Symptoms, Causes, Types, and Treatment)

Bruises

Bruises are the dark-colored area of the skin caused by internal bleeding under the skin. Bruises may be deep or near the surface. Deep bruises are known as hematomas, whereas those near to the surface are known as superficial bruises. Bruises are very common in bleeding disorders such as hemophilia. Bleeding causes buildup of blood, which results in swelling of the skin, and it feels like a lump.
