Prolapsed hemorrhoid

Prolapsed hemorrhoid appears when the internal hemorrhoids start swelling and sticking out of your anus. The doctors might assign a grade to the prolapsed hemorrhoid on the basis of how far hemorrhoid sticks out of the anus. Following are the grades of a prolapsed hemorrhoid:

Grade one:

At this stage, the internal hemorrhoids are not sticking out so far from your anus, so there is the presence of no prolapsed hemorrhoids at all.

Grade two:

There is the presence of prolapsed hemorrhoids, but the hemorrhoids will retract on their own. The hemorrhoids might only prolapse when the patient puts pressure on the anus or the rectal area. There are chances of prolapse of the hemorrhoids when a person is straining during the bowel movements or putting any pressure on the anal or rectal area. While after the straining, the hemorrhoids might return to the normal position afterwards.

Grade three:

The prolapsed hemorrhoids are present, and the patient has to push them hemorrhoids back in by themselves. There is an immediate need of treatment for these hemorrhoids so that they do not turn into too painful or get infection in them.

Grade four:

There is the presence of prolapsed hemorrhoids, and the patient can not push them back in without bearing a good deal of pain. The doctors suggest a proper treatment in order to prevent any sort of discomfort, pain, or to avoid further complications.

The prolapse hemorrhoids might appear as swollen red bumps or lumps coming out of the anal surface. The red swollen lumps are visible if a person uses a mirror to take a look at the area. Prolapse hemorrhoids might not have any other symptoms other than the pain or discomfort, and the protrusion. In some of the cases, the patient might need some surgical treatment in order to remove or adjust a prolapsed hemorrhoid so that there is less pain or complications as a result of prolapsed hemorrhoids.
